I absolutely love the Archetype Dossiers that Savage Rifts has. You get an entire character (art, story, explanation of abilities, etc.) in a simple folded booklet. But the organization and breakdown of what Dossier set is what can get really confusing.

"Box Set" vs. "Set"

Each Dossier belongs to a specific "Set" of characters where a set is 6 or 9 related Dossiers. Pinnacle then collects these into "Box Sets" of 18 Dossiers for physical release.

Confusingly, sometimes Pinnacle releases the entire Box Set as a single PDF, while other times they release each Set as its own PDF. But they always release the physical product as an 18-Dossier Box Set.

• Box Set 1 contains Sets 1, 2, and 3 (6 Dossiers each)
• Box Set 2 contains Sets 4 and 5 (9 Dossiers each)

Currently no Box Set includes Set 6, as that'll be bundled with future sets.

The Sets

Set 1 features 6 Tomorrow Legion Player's Guide frameworks. Cyber-Knight, Glitter Boy, Juicer, Ley Line Walker, Mind Melter, Operator.

Set 2 features another 6 Tomorrow Legion Player's Guide frameworks. Burster, City Rat, Combat Cyborg, Crazy, Mystic, Wilderness Scout.

Set 3 features 6 Atlantis & the Demon Seas frameworks. Atlantean Nomad, Ocean Wizard, Sea Inquisitor, Stone Master, Tattooed warrior, Undead Slayer.

Set 4 features 9 Terror on the Dark Frontier frameworks. Cowboy, Cyber-Slinger, Elemental Fusionist, Mining 'Borg, Paradox Shaman, Preacher, Psi-Slinger, Totem Warrior, Wired Gunslinger.

Set 5 features 9 Land of a Thousand Islands frameworks. Amazon, Anti-Monster, Biomancer, Blood Rider, Demigod, Duelist, Gizmoteer, Line Maker, Rune Warrior.

Set 6 features 6 Europa frameworks. (tbd)
